What we can help with

Email us if you spot a reading that looks wrong, a lake target that has changed, or a Lake Improvement Board update we should know about. Also let us know if there's an Oakland County lake you'd like added to the dashboard that we haven't picked up yet.

What we can't help with

We can't change the legal water level for your lake — that's set by court order under Michigan's Inland Lake Level Act and administered by the Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner. If you have concerns about how the WRC is managing your lake's level, contact the office directly:

LakeWatch is a one-person volunteer project. We typically reply within a few days, but during the busy spring melt and ice-up seasons it may take a bit longer.
